VSRE School Policy
We have a Pay Once – for Year One policy:
At VSRE, students may take as many classes and review sessions they feel they need to pass the NH Exam. These additional classes and/or review sessions are to be taken within one year from the start date of their first class. They must coordinate their post 40 hour class schedule with their instructor and all sessions are offered without additional fees, with the exception of any fees associated with a required textbook update.
Beyond the One Year from the start date of your original 40 hour pre-licensing course:
VSRE will discount the cost for the required 40 hour course from $349.00 to $200.00 plus an additional $49.00, if a new text book edition needs to be purchased. Students will be required to complete all 40 hours including all of the real estate book’s chapters and the NH section reviews in order to receive a new pre-licensing certificate. To take advantage of this, students must contact the school director. Payment is due via cash or check (no credit card payments) in advance of the 1st class and is non-refundable.
If after attending the first class a student wishes to cancel their registration they must notify the school director in writing prior to the second scheduled class. Class fee will be refunded less the cost of the textbook $49.00 and a $10.00 cancellation fee. If the student wishes to move to the next scheduled class term the school director will move the student to the next class without and penalty to the student.
Should the school postpone any scheduled classes due to inclement weather or instructor illness/emergency, the Instructor will notify all students via a group text and or group email. The postponed class will be rescheduled in place of the next scheduled class or a special additional class will be added, all of which could delay the end date of the term. Please confirm with your instructor if there are any weather related events before heading to your class.
OPTIONAL tutoring available upon request:
VSRE offers optional tutoring beyond the 40 hour pre-licensing course and additional scheduled classes a student wishes to attend. Tutoring will not be solicited and is not part of the required 40 hours. The Optional tutoring is available with the Instructor in small groups of no more than 3 persons or a one to one basis, depending on the instructor’s personal schedule. The tutoring rates are $25.00 per student per hour or $40.00 per student for two hours. All tutoring requests and payments are to be made directly to the instructors, not through Verani School of Real Estate.
